Terms of Reference

The Terms of Reference is a “living document” for the Standing Committee on Decolonizing and Indigenizing the Professional Association. It was developed based on the Mission Statement of the Canadian Association of Geographers, to guide the Standing Committee’s organizational structure and decision-making processes; it is subject to revisions as needed (i.e., at minimum, through an annual review of its contents) and outlines the key provisions and principles that will govern the relationships between the Committee Co-Chairs, Secretary, Standing Committee Members, and the CAG Executive Committee.
